Hey guys and girls, so this is my first attempt at doing a blog post for every single video I upload. I'd love to get a blog rolling where I can do in-depth reviews and posts that I mightn't want to put in a video for my youtube channel.
Today I uploaded a video with a little about my nails, my nail care and a how-to/first impressions of the Fuse Gelnamel Starter kit. Watch it here:
So I've always had a keen interest in my nails, I love painting them, shaping them, maintaining them and playing with nail art. I go to a salon to get acrylics put on, because I love the length, and my natural nails are just naturally very weak and brittle.
I love either almond nails, or short and square nails, like this:
I also ALWAYS paint my nails myself... I have at least... 200 polishes? (its shameful, I know) and I feel like I'm totally wasting them if I don't at least try to use them. So I mix up my nail colour a couple times a week. I love doing my nail and find it really therapeutic!
One thing I have never tried is a gel manicure, these came on the scene a few years back and quickly became super popular with their longevity; the gel can stay on for up to three whole weeks, all that time remaining glossy and chip free. I had never ever tried gel before, I'm not into nail-colour-commitment so I'd never tried, knowing you had to return to the salon to have it removed just isn't ideal for me. I'm certainly a DIY kind of girl!
I was gifted this Fuse Gelnamel starter kit not long ago and was so excited about it, I have always been way too stubborn to get it done at a salon, but now I could try it from home! The instructions in the kit are very easy to follow and so within just 15 minutes, I'd done my entire right hand it was completely finished. All dry, all glossy, no base or top coats, no waiting 3 hours before bed so you don't get sheet marks... they were ready to go. So then I decided to film myself doing the other hand, and the above video shows it from start to finish!
