This week I had the pleasure of attending the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (or VAMFF as they call it!) as a guest of L'Oreal Paris, a company I am so proud to be working with!
I have been creating looks based off of the runway looks from the shows here at the festival and if you haven't checked them out yet, please do! HERE's the first blog post, but theres two more posts to come!
Today I thought I'd share with you my outfit for a very special event I was invited to attend by L'Oreal - I will write more about the event after the pictures - it was a cocktail event so I went all out and got a gorgeous dress from Zoie Boutique, check it out:
I wanted to wear something cute and fun, so I found this dress on Zoie Boutique and paired with accessories I've had in my closet for a while now...
This dress is amazing! Its it's called the 'Three Dimensions Dress'. LINK.
The beautiful bodice on the dress. I'm wearing size XS. LINK.
I then wore this gorgeous 'Memory Cape Jacket' from Cue. LINK.
Love the mixture of the black and white prink with nude accessories.
The cape is the perfect item to wear over a cocktail or party dress, half cape; half sleeveless blazer! It's a luxe fabric that doesn't seem to crease too, very welcome addition to my wardrobe! I got size S. LINK.
I love my Saint Laurent 'Monogramme'/'Cassandre' Clutch. LINK (black) LINK (flesh pink) LINK (similar style, same colour).
The peep of my red soles are the only dash of colour in this look!
My heels are Christian Louboutin Pigalle Platos' and they're such versatile pair of heels. The perfect first pair of Loubs - they are so classic. LINK.
I wore the outfit with a simple, sleek pony tail and basic makeup with a contour below the cheekbones. Before leaving for the event I put on a winged eye, false lashes, and a burgundy lip to dress up the look!
Simple Mimco studs didn't cause a distraction and kept the look neat. LINK (similar).
In fact, here's a shot of what I ended up adding to the look. Cilick HERE to see the product names.
hope you like my outfit from the night! So a little about the event; If you didn't know already, Eva Longoria is an ambassador for L'Oreal Paris and came out from LA for the week of the VAMFF, and tonight's event; 'An Evening with Eva' was to welcome and celebrate her coming to Australia! I am a HYUUGE fan of Eva, being not only an amazingly beautiful and talented actress, director and businesswoman, but activist for some great causes and charities. I had the opportunity to personally meet Eva at the event, which was held at the famous Rue Du Monde restaurant, it was a brief meeting but I am still in shock that she shook my hand and got a photograph with me! I have to try and find the image soon, I'll post it on my instagram when I do!
I had a great time watching the shows on Tuesday night as well; L'oreal have completely spoilt me and I sat front row while I watched the shows, was able to go backstage to see Elsa Morgan (L'Oreal Paris Australia Makeup Director), and was treated with delicious cocktails and canapés between and after the shows. I had a truly amazing time. Thank you so much L'Oreal Paris for this experience!!!
Hope you enjoyed these images of my outfit from 'An Evening with Eva' :)
Follow L'Oreal Paris Au for more info on the event, there are a few pics of me on their instagram too! HERE.
