Hi everyone! This smoky eye look that I wore in my last two videos was highly requested by a bunch of you guys, so here’s the tutorial!
I’m using the Tarteist Pro Palette, I must say that this palette has a really nice selection of shades for creating a sultry eye look.
I started by taking the colour “Classic” and dusting it all over the lid so that the the later/darker shades will blend more smoothly. I used “Bold” in the crease and blended it out with the E35 Tapered Blending Brush from Sigma (use the code CHLOE for a discount!). I love this brush, it’s perfect for softening out your transition shades. Next, apply “Edgy” through the crease and soften it out. Next, take an eyeliner and make a very thick wing, going into your lash line and your waterline. At this stage you can make it messy, because next you’re going to smoke it out with a pencil brush. Then you can start to draw your wing. I used a little eyeliner brush and drew pigment straight onto the brush from the eyeliner.
Now I used the colour “Punk” to add the dark black of the smoky eye. You’ll want to catch the fallout. This colour gives such an intense black to the look. Next I patted “Smoked” on the seam of the black to create a gradient and soften out the whole look with a blending brush.
Don’t forget to take a concealer to brighten up around your eyes. I used the P89 Bake Precision Brush from Sigma which I swear by. This will also clean up the wing and make it pop more.
Now you can apply your mascara and add some falsies. I used Strip Down Lashes by Velour Lashes. You can finish the look with a sultry lip colour of your choice, I used the Perfect Nude Art Stick by Bobbi Brown.
