Hey guys! Today I did a sponsored video with Bobbi Brown where I show you a way to create not THREE makeup looks in one, all using their new product - the Art Stick Liquid Lip collection.
I love that they’re squeezable and super pigmented but still light-weight on the lip, AND that there are sixteen colours, everything from nude to bright to bold. I also love that the tip is plastic rather than felt or other material, it means that you can keep it clean and wipe it off between uses. You can grab the collection at Sephora.
So the first of these three looks is an everyday makeup look with a bright lip. Start with your foundation - I used two different shades to contour with and blended it with a sponge. Next up are eyebrows, which are probably the most important thing to do even when you’re in a rush, since having filled and neatly straightened eyebrows can make you look put together even when you’re not. Next I used the Bobbi Brown Retouching Powder to take away any shine from my foundation.
I used the Matte Covershot Palette from Smashbox to create a really simple eyeshadow look -remember, this is for everyday wear. For my day looks I usually use a gel pencil eyeliner and put it on the outer corner of my eye to lift it (the effect is subtle but really nice). You can smudge it out with a medium brown eyeshadow if you like. For my blush, I used a peachy/orange blush (“Cantaloup” by Surratt) to give my face a bit of warmth without using too much colour. I finished up the loop with the Bobbi Brown Art Stick Liquid Lip in “Lily” on my lips (it makes my teeth look whiter which is an unexpected bonus!)
Now for the second look, which is a wearable glam with a bold lip (my favourite). So the quickest way to get a glam look is with the dreaded WINGED EYELINER. It takes a steady hand and a lot of practice, that’s for sure. Some false eyelashes are also essential for amping up that nighttime glam. Next, I did some contouring using the Step by Step Contour Trio by Smashbox and blended it with the 3DHD Blender by Sigma (use code chloemorello10 for a discount!). To brighten my inner eye I took some Too Faced Glitter Glue and then covered with a Bobbi Brown eyeshadow called “Silver Heather”. Don’t forget to blend it out! I chose a hot red lip colour for this look - “Hot Tangerine”. To add a bit more glam, I took the Bobbi Brown Face Highlighter in “Seashell” and applied it to my cheekbones using my finger - and I also like to highlight the bridge of my nose between my eyes.
For the third and final third look, an evening glam look with nude lip. I start by dabbing over everything with the blender to freshen it up, and retouching with Bobbi Brown’s Retouching Powder. Brush away the excess and blend it in. I contoured with my Revlon Sculpt and Highlight Contour Kit (which I helped develop!) Because I broke the highlight in my Revlon kit, I used the awesome “Moonstone” Powder Highlight from Becca.
For my eye look, I used the Smashbox Matte Covershot Palette again, taking the black colour to my lid. Don’t forget to use a tissue to catch any fallout. Then take some medium brown through the crease. Then add the mid brown under the eye to finish! Such a simple eye look but so effective! I freshened up my brows with some brow pomade and added more mascara since this is a nighttime look. I chose the colour “Honey Bear” for my lip and made it pop by tracing my lips with my foundation. Mess your hair up a bit to complete the look and you’re ready to go out!
